QA / Playtester(s)

Role:

 

  • Playtest the game to find bugs, glitches, and gameplay issues.
  • Report bugs with clear descriptions, screenshots, or videos.
  • Work with programmers to help reproduce and resolve issues.
  • Retest fixed bugs to make sure they're actually fixed.
  • Provide feedback on gameplay, mechanics, and overall player experience.

Expectations:

 

  • We're looking for someone who is curious, patient, and enjoys exploring games.
  • Take the time to understand how game systems work and test them thoroughly.
  • Communicate clearly with the team and keep bug reports organized.
  • Be willing to test the same feature multiple times when needed.

Requirements:

 

  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to clearly explain bugs and how to reproduce them.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and testing processes.
  • A genuine passion for games.
  • Space on an SSD to install the Project Files and UE5

Nice-to-Have:

 

  • Previous QA or game testing experience.
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5.
  • Experience using bug tracking software.
  • Experience testing survival, crafting, or simulation games.

Additional Information:


  • All Contractors are required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and a Contract before joining the project.
  • Streaming, recording, sharing screenshots, or posting videos of the game is not permitted without prior written permission from Thicket Games.
  • All game content, development information, and internal discussions must remain confidential unless otherwise approved.
